Spring
by
Lisa A.Williams
Persephone rises
from the dark
confines of earth,
free once again
from winter's grave,
no longer a slave
in frozen wait.
Nature knows the body
of her song,
hears it in the wind
as her gentle
whispering awakens
a sleepy world.
Gorgeous! Flowing, this piece brings to life the sounds and sites of spring and new beginnings. Really vivid imagery. Glad you posted at Verse First!
