Spring

Spring
by
Lisa A.Williams

Persephone rises
from the dark
 confines of earth,
 free once again
 from winter's grave,
no longer a slave
in frozen wait.
Nature knows the body
of her song,
 hears it in the wind
as her gentle
 whispering  awakens
a sleepy world.

  7. Lovely! After you mentioned you wrote a poem on Persephone recently, I had to search on your blog to see if I could find it. Wonderful!
